[Alpha Biz= Kim Sangjin] Hyundai Motor's stock surged by over 6% following the news of a strategic partnership with U.S. AI semiconductor company NVIDIA. Investors reacted positively to the announcement, leading to a strong closing.

On Friday, Hyundai's stock ended 6.10% higher, at 226,000 KRW, marking a 13,000 KRW increase. The stock had started the day with a modest 0.94% rise, but its gains accelerated as the day went on.

The Hyundai Motor Group revealed the partnership with NVIDIA during an event held at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas Hotel in Nevada. The collaboration focuses on mobility innovations, including software-defined vehicles (SDV) and robotics, aiming to enhance AI technologies across the company's operations.
