[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] Food delivery companies are fiercely competing for "free delivery" as even Yogiyo, the third-largest in the industry, has declared free delivery.

Yogiyo, a delivery app, announced on the 5th that it will provide users of apps across the country with the benefit of ordering food without delivery fees.

From this day on, if you order at least 15,000 won or more through 'Yogi Delivery' in the Yogiyo app, the food will be delivered free of charge.

CoupangIts earlier opened the door of a "free delivery war" by offering a free "package delivery" service that delivers multiple homes at the same time to paid WOW members from the 26th of last month.

Baemin operator Woowa Bros also began offering bundle delivery free of charge in the Seoul metropolitan area on the 1st of this month.
