[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] The anti-corruption crime investigation unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said today (5th) that it has banned KG Mobility CEO Chung Yong-won, who is under investigation for alleged embezzlement, from leaving the country.

Police have investigated four KG Mobility executives and employees, including CEO Chung Yong-won, on charges of business embezzlement and raided KG Mobility's headquarters in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, on the 19th of last month.

Earlier, two days after the police raid, CEO Chung Yong-won conveyed his intention to the company to step down from his position as CEO and registered director to take moral responsibility.

However, he expressed his intention to complete the ongoing work such as the development of a new car.
