[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] LS Eco Energy, affiliated with LS Cable in the East Sea, was recognized for its technological prowess by supplying 17.6 billion won worth of ultra-high-pressure cables to Denmark, and ranked No. 1 in the ultra-high-pressure cable market in Denmark along with LS Cable.

LS Eco Energy (CEO Lee Sang-ho) announced on November 11 that it has recently supplied ultra-high-pressure cables to Denmark. The 220kV underground cable exported this time is worth $ 13 million (KRW 17.6 billion) and will be used to create an inland power grid connecting the North Sea's "Thor Offshore Wind Farm." LS Eco Energy, which started exporting cables to Denmark in 2017, ranked first in Denmark's ultra-high-pressure cable market along with LS Cable.

The Thor offshore wind farm, which will be built on the North Sea, 22 kilometers from the port, is Denmark's largest 1GW class and will supply electricity to about 1 million households when completed in 2027.
