Chairman Jeong emphasized the need for executives to recognize the gravity of the situation and work with a heightened sense of urgency. He stated, "Executives must fulfill their duties with utmost responsibility and focus, particularly in the current environment, until the operational and management situation stabilizes. I urge POSCO Holdings executives to immediately return to a 5-day workweek to actively consider ways to overcome the company's crisis."

Chairman Jeong also highlighted safety as the company's top priority and issued instructions to launch a "Facility Strengthening Task Force (TFT)," which will consist of top safety, equipment, and maintenance experts. "There is no higher value in management than ensuring the safety of the workplace," he reaffirmed. He also committed to allocating the group's resources, including manpower and budgets, to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Furthermore, Chairman Jeong pledged fundamental changes through the Facility Strengthening TFT, stating that the task force would inspect steel plants in Pohang, Gwangyang, and overseas, objectively assessing facility conditions.
