[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Kim Jung-ho, former head of management support at Kakao's CA consultative body, who has been under investigation for swearing and leaking in-house information, was eventually fired from Kakao. Most of the allegations of construction irregularities raised by former general manager Kim during the investigation were found to be untrue. Former director Kim is known to have accepted the decision.

The Kakao Standing Ethics Committee announced to Kakao members on the 15th that it had decided to dismiss former general manager Kim.

The ethics committee took issue with workplace harassment, false fact-based defamation, and unauthorized leakage of unconfirmed in-house information as reasons for the dismissal decision.

The ethics committee also judged that there was no problem with corruption in in-house construction projects raised by former general manager Kim.
