Worker in His 30s Dies at Coupang Logistics Center; Police Launch Investigation

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] A man in his 30s working at a Coupang logistics center has died, prompting a police investigation.


According to the Hwaseong Dongtan Police Station on the 22nd, the incident occurred at around 10:30 p.m. the previous day at the cafeteria inside Coupang’s Dongtan 1 Logistics Center in Shindong, Hwaseong City. The worker, identified only as A, suddenly collapsed at the site.


He was transported to a nearby hospital in cardiac arrest but was later pronounced dead.


The deceased was a contract worker reportedly responsible for simple packaging-related tasks.


Police plan to conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
