[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Several food companies that had previously halted product deliveries to Homeplus due to its ongoing court-led corporate rehabilitation process have now resumed supplies, according to industry sources on June 4.

Binggrae resumed deliveries to Homeplus on June 3, following a suspension that began on May 24. The suspension included the entire range of its products such as Banana Flavored Milk, Yoplait yogurt, Melona ice cream, dairy products, fermented milk, coffee, and juice.

Maeil Dairies also restarted supply of certain products over the past weekend, after a temporary suspension.

Since March 2025, when Homeplus officially entered corporate rehabilitation proceedings, several major suppliers — including Ottogi, Dongseo Foods, and Lotte Chilsung Beverage — had temporarily stopped supplying products. The Seoul Dairy Cooperative halted its deliveries for over 40 days due to unresolved contract negotiations.

The recent resumption of deliveries by key suppliers reflects a gradual normalization of operations and possibly improving confidence in Homeplus’ restructuring efforts.
