LS ELECTRIC to Supply Power Control Systems for Liquid-Cooled NVIDIA AI Servers

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] LS ELECTRIC is set to supply power control equipment, including switchgear and circuit breakers, for liquid cooling systems used in NVIDIA's AI servers, which dominate approximately 90% of the global AI server market.



According to industry sources on June 23, LS ELECTRIC is finalizing supply terms with Vertiv, the world’s largest liquid cooling solution provider. Since Vertiv systems are used in NVIDIA’s AI servers, LS ELECTRIC’s power control devices will effectively be embedded in NVIDIA’s next-generation infrastructure.



NVIDIA shifted from air cooling to liquid cooling last year, naming Vertiv as a key strategic partner. Liquid cooling is a next-gen thermal management solution using water to dissipate heat from high-performance AI servers, and the market is projected to grow to 18 trillion KRW (approx. $13 billion USD) by 2034.



Given the expected surge in demand, analysts project that LS ELECTRIC's supply volume could reach several hundred billion KRW (hundreds of millions of USD) annually over the next few years.
