Naver Cloud Signs MOU for Digital Market Expansion in Saudi Arabia

[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Naver Cloud announced on Monday (local time) that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the 'LEAP 2025' event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with domestic security, smart city, and AI solution companies and startups. The MOU aims to promote information exchange and business collaboration among domestic digital companies for entering the Saudi digital market.


The companies involved in this collaboration include SSNC, Sparrow, Genieous (263860), Wiz Korea, Yurak, Gison, XGate (356680), CYNEX Systems, MobilTech, Octaco, and Vernet (438700), among 11 others.


Through this MOU, Team Naver plans to further expand the Saudi digital ecosystem by collaborating with various domestic companies across different fields. In fact, Team Naver has been cooperating with Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX) and Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) on the digital twin platform construction project in Saudi Arabia.


The MOU signing ceremony was attended by Cha Sun-Joo, Naver's Head of External Affairs and ESG Policy, Kim Yoo-Won, Naver Cloud CEO, Seok Sang-Ok, Naver Labs CEO, Lee Sang-Joong, President of the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), Moon Byung-Joon, Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Korea Embassy in Saudi Arabia, and representatives from 11 domestic IT startups.
