[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Jin Air staff at Incheon Airport successfully saved a foreign passenger who was in a critical condition thanks to their quick first aid response.

According to Jin Air on Wednesday, on the 14th at around 5 p.m., a 30-year-old Thai man scheduled to board a flight to Bangkok at Incheon Airport’s Terminal 2 suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness after having a seizure.

Staff from Jin Air and its partner, Air Korea, who were on-site, assessed the situation, and the passenger was found breathing heavily while unconscious. The staff immediately began performing CPR with other passengers, continuing until emergency medical responders arrived. Fortunately, the passenger regained consciousness and was taken to the hospital with the help of the paramedics who arrived a few minutes later. The flight proceeded normally after necessary procedures, such as unloading the passenger's baggage.

The staff's quick response was due to regular CPR training they had undergone.
