[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Seoul, November 2, 2025 — Rising K-pop girl group NMIXX has taken the No. 1 spot on Korea’s major music charts with their new title track “Blue Valentine,” surpassing “Golden,” the global theme song of Netflix’s hit animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters.
“Golden” had dominated domestic and international charts for several months, captivating listeners worldwide. However, NMIXX’s Blue Valentine — the lead track from their first full-length album — has since overtaken it, marking a breakthrough moment for the group. The song currently remains at No. 1 on Melon’s HOT100 chart, Korea’s largest streaming platform.
NMIXX also swept all three major terrestrial music shows — KBS Music Bank, MBC Show! Music Core, and SBS Inkigayo — achieving a rare triple crown. This milestone comes three years and eight months after their debut, earning the group long-overdue recognition alongside their peers such as IVE and LE SSERAFIM.
The group’s success has also drawn investor attention to their agency, JYP Entertainment, one of Korea’s “Big Four” entertainment companies alongside HYBE, SM Entertainment, and YG Entertainment. While JYP’s stock performance had lagged earlier this year, analysts say NMIXX’s chart dominance could shift investor sentiment toward the company’s growth potential in the global K-pop market.
“NMIXX’s surge to the top signals a new phase for JYP’s artist lineup and brand competitiveness,” said a local industry analyst. “Their momentum could translate into stronger performance across global platforms and revenues.”
