[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Prosecutors have launched a forced investigation into the Korea Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives over the alleged illegal fees for PF.
According to legal circles on the 20th, the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office's Criminal Affairs Department 6 (Senior Prosecutor Seo Hyun-wook) sent investigators to three places, including the Korea Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives, to execute search and seizure warrants.
Park, former deputy director of the Korea Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives, and credit team leaders Roh and Oh are suspected of secretly stealing a total of more than 3.9 billion won from the large shareholders of the Korea Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives while carrying out seven PF loans from December 2021 to September 2022.
On the 13th, the prosecution arrested and indicted Park and Roh on charges of violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Economic Crimes (malpractice) and the Act on the Regulation and Punishment of Criminal Proceeds concealment.
