[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Franchise owners operating more than 3,000 outlets under Theborn Korea — including Paik’s Coffee, Hong Kong Banjeom, and Hanshin Pocha — have voiced concerns that recent actions by the National Franchisee Association (NFA) and several YouTubers are harming their livelihoods.

At a press conference on the 19th, Theborn Korea franchise owners stated that the NFA has been “misrepresenting the opinions of five affiliated franchisees as if they reflect the views of all 3,000 franchise owners” and using them to criticize the headquarters. The majority of franchisees do not agree with these claims, they emphasized.

They also noted that certain YouTubers working in tandem with the NFA have been “spreading false and distorted information,” escalating conflict between the franchisor and franchisees and causing unnecessary damage to business operations.
