[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) announced on January 29 that 55,178 imported vehicles from Volvo Cars Korea, GS Global, Jaguar Land Rover Korea, and Ford Sales Service Korea are subject to recalls due to confirmed manufacturing defects.

Volvo: 50,434 units across seven models, including the XC60, may experience unintended emergency braking caused by the limitations of the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) sensors. Corrective measures have been underway since January 26.

GS Global: 1,692 T4K vehicles are being recalled due to software errors in the vehicle control system that may prevent the electronic parking brake from engaging when shifting into the Park (P) position. The recall began on January 29.

Jaguar Land Rover: 1,416 Range Rover Evoque units are being recalled because of potential damage to the passenger-side airbag due to improper assembly. Corrective action has been in progress since January 23.

Ford: 1,489 Mustang vehicles may experience malfunctioning width lights, tail lights, and license plate lights due to water ingress into the body control module. Additionally, 147 Ford Expedition vehicles are being recalled for potential rear camera failures caused by insufficient durability. Both recalls began on January 26.

Vehicle owners can check if their car is affected and obtain detailed information about the defects through the Automobile Recall Center website or hotline.
