Cho Hyun-beom, chairman of Hankook Tire & Technology, resigns from his position as an in-house director for the first time in 12 years.

Hankook Tire said on the 25th that it will delete Cho's re-election as an in-house director from the agenda of its regular shareholders' meeting to be held on the 28th.

Cho reportedly decided to step down from his post as an in-house director, considering that he was indicted on charges of embezzlement and breach of trust and is on trial.
