[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Kakao Healthcare attended the "Korea-U.S. Digital and Bio-Health Business Forum" hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in Boston, the U.S., and signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for global business and a major contract agreement with three U.S. companies.
On the 28th, Kakao Healthcare agreed to promote domestic and global joint projects and continue technical cooperation with three companies: 'Dexcom', a global diabetes company, 'Google Cloud', an artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud company, and 'Signature Healthcare', a US psychiatric hospital group.
Dexcom is a global leader in real-time continuous blood glucose meters (RT-CGM) for diabetics. The two companies plan to combine Kakao Healthcare's software (SW) technology capabilities with Dexcom's CGM technology capabilities to cooperate in domestic and global businesses and provide innovative blood sugar management solutions.
