[Alpha Biz= Kim Sang Jin] Jollibee Foods Corporation announced on April 20 that it has completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in All Day Fresh, the operator of Korea’s all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu franchise “Shabu-All-Day,” for approximately KRW 130 billion.

With the completion of the share purchase agreement (SPA), All Day Fresh has been fully separated from its former parent, Myungryundang, and incorporated as a subsidiary under the Jollibee Foods group.

Shabu-All-Day currently operates 172 stores nationwide, generating approximately KRW 480 billion in annual system (POS) sales.

Jollibee Foods noted that Shabu-All-Day “maintains a leading position in Korea’s shabu-shabu market, supported by a stable revenue structure and high customer return rates,” adding that it also sees strong potential for overseas expansion amid the growing popularity of “K-food” and “healthy pleasure” trends. The brand is reportedly exploring entry into Southeast Asian markets.

The company plans to inject additional capital through a rights offering for All Day Fresh to support mid- to long-term growth strategies, including strengthening marketing, enhancing brand competitiveness, and expanding support for franchisees.

Following its acquisition of Compose Coffee last year, Jollibee Foods is further strengthening its presence in Korea’s food and beverage (F&B) market with this latest deal. Compose Coffee has been expanding into Southeast Asia, including the Philippines and Singapore, since joining the Jollibee group.

Founded in 1975 in the Philippines, Jollibee Foods operates more than 10,000 stores across 34 countries. The company owns several global brands, including its flagship fast-food chain Jollibee—often referred to as the “KFC of the Philippines”—as well as The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Tim Ho Wan.
