[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] The Hyundai Securities Building in Yeouido is set to be acquired by BNK Financial Group.


According to BNK Financial Holdings on Friday, Koramco Asset Management, the current owner of the building, notified them that BNK Asset Management has been selected as the preferred bidder for the building sale. This decision follows a bidding process.


The Hyundai Securities Building, which was completed in 1994, is located in the central business district of Yeouido. The building is expected to be sold for over 3 trillion won. Koramco had purchased the building for approximately 2.66 trillion won in 2020. The building currently houses offices for Hyundai Securities and tenants like Starbucks.
